| MY STORY
Hello there!
I’m Tiffany, the dental hygienist behind The Hygiene Accelerator Course™! I am deeply excited to be creating this space of learning for anyone who is craving simple, accelerated instruction on the many different aspects of dental hygiene care.
My goal with this course is to lay out dental hygiene theory, aspects of clinical care, communication skills, and self-care in a way that has never been done before. You will learn from my diverse experience as a hygienist and pick up many things I wish I knew earlier on in my dental hygiene career!
I come from a family of teachers (grade school and university professor) and even competitive sports coaches, so teaching is something that is within me. Being a dental hygienist and a mother means that I am teaching and learning every single day!
Practicing dental hygiene since 2011 has allowed me to experience dental care from a variety of perspectives. From a fast-paced corporate practice, to a general dental office, a periodontist specialty clinic, and even a relationship-based whole-body health practice! Through these experiences I have picked up many little “tricks of the trade”. Ironically, it was these 'little' tricks that have had the biggest impact on deepening my professional fulfillment and broadening my approaches to treating my patients and my team.
To me, continuing education is not about getting the necessary credits to keep my dental hygiene license... it's what fuels me and keeps me so excited to go to work each and every day! Expanding my education has opened my eyes to supporting my patients' health in ways that I didn't even know existed when my career began!
Dental hygiene is one of the few remaining preventive health professions. There is a responsibility here that is heavy, yet an opportunity that is uniquely profound! I am both honoured and fortunate that you are considering joining me on the Hygiene Accelerator Course™ journey. IT WASN'T ALWAYS EASY
From an early age, I knew I wanted to build a better financial future for myself. I worked long hours at a bank to put myself through college and eventually finished grad school with top honors. My career thus far has been lucrative and exciting, but getting back to my roots and helping everyday people find financial freedom is the real dream come true.
